Welcome Reuben! Look at this little guy – isn’t he sweet? Reuben is the youngest of the Hardy boys, with three older brothers to look out for him. Yes, that’s right – FOUR boys! If only they gave out Mothering awards – I’m quite sure that Hannah deserves one! You can certainly see the love in this family.
I couldn’t be more excited to share these photos with you – Erica and Derek are some of my favourite clients – from engagement to wedding, and now maternity (and soon newborn!) What a lucky photographer I am! Erica runs Simply Vintage Love (http://simply-vintage-love.blogspot.ca) so she always has lots of fun props to share. When she said “I was thinking about going to Gaspereau Valley Fibres for some of the photos,” I did a little happy dance. Wool, sheep, chickens, babies… love.
LOVE these photos, as usual!!!
Well, it’s been a little quiet around here, but not because I haven’t been busy! I had a web-site glitch that had to get fixed, but it’s all better now. So I’ve got some updating to do! I’m going to squeeze the first two into one post, since these guys have already seen them all 🙂
First up, a 50th anniversary/family session at Acadia University. Don’t they look fun? Well, that’s because they were!
And a super-sweet family maternity session, for a lucky baby with two older sisters. Newborn photos coming soon!
Oh, Baby Effie. I think it is impossible to spend time with baby Effie, and not fall in love with her a little bit. I bet by the end of this post, you will be in love with her a little bit, too! Look at these photos, all curled up like an egg, or making a little heart with her two tiny hands, and those tiny toes, and you know I could go on. Or, just look at the way her family looks at her. One of the things that I love about newborn sessions is that they always take me back a little bit, to when my own two were so small. Now, don’t get me wrong, every baby is different, and every baby has a mind of their own (don’t let anyone tell you different!) but there is also something universal about a newborn baby. Something wonderful. Something that makes you want to stop doing anything else, and just look.
Hi Lauren, I am Ambres mom. I am coming to NS in march and I would like to have a surprise baby shower for Ambre. She has never had a shower held for her. I want this to be a surprise. Would you be able to help me by inviting people? I would really appreciate your help. You can email me @ joangel777@gmail.com.
Hugs
Jo-Anna
When Brittany and Stephen got in touch with me to see if I might be interested in coming up to Canning to do anniversary photos for them on the property where they were married, I jumped at the chance. We got out at the most amazing cabin and property, right on the cliffs overlooking the Bay of Fundy. Gorgeous views, weathered wood, beautiful architectural details – I was pretty darn happy. Then Brittany asked if we still had time to go to the farm down the road. Um, yes. There’s always time for farm pictures! Thanks for showing me around, and being such a fun couple, you two! Enjoy your Sneak Peek!
Stunning!
The pictures are lovely! Good job done by all and you know me…I love the natural setting.
A-dorable! Nice compositions Lauren 🙂
Nice job!
