I first photographed the Gebhardt family when their son was a newborn, and their daughter a little toddler, so it was a complete delight to catch up with them in their new backyard this Fall! It’s not just any backyard, either – all of these photos were taken on their stunning property just North of […]

It was a beautiful Fall day when I got together with the Andrews family, visiting all the way from Saskatchewan! The North Mountain was full of colour, and in all her glory, but also just a tad on the chilly side! When our fingers were numb, we headed down the mountain into Berwick and reconvened […]
I’ve had the great pleasure of photographing the Arsenault family before, so I’m always excited to get a message from Tina. We’ve been to some great locations (Halls Harbour, Annapolis Royal, and their own backyard) but this year she said, “we’re renting a yurt at Keji!” and my photographer’s heart began beating double time! “Sounds […]
What a joy and privilege it always is to be able to meet a family, and follow along as they grow and change. My first session with the Arsenault family (posted here) was very memorable for me, so it was lovely to hear from them again. It was hard not to feel like someone was […]
Lauren, you’ve done it again! These photos perfectly capture our extended family as it is at this moment, and you really did a beautiful job of showing the amount of love that we all have for each other and our children. Thank you so much for continuing to document our journey together.
All the best,
Colleen Arsenault & Family
It would be pretty hard not to fall a little bit in love with the DeZeeuws, after spending a morning in their company. I, of course, didn’t even try! Not only that, but I am totally in love with the idea of this photo shoot. Their children and grandchildren made up a list of photographs […]
I love these pictures and the idea of capturing favourite memories and places within a home .. I have tears in my throat and a twinge in my heart.
Love love love these photo’s. What a gift to have the memories of Oma and Opa to hold in your hand or on the wall, it was a great idea.Love them all, especially the one with the house in the background and them walking down the path beside the garden. I can hear their voices now and the laughter! Captured wonderfully.
A photo book of love; crafted to pay homage to the home these two wonderful people created for friend and family to gather and enjoy. The photos tell this love story so well.
An unique idea for a special couple.
Thanks for passing along the love.
[…] with the DeZeeuw family on the occasion of Ad’s 80th birthday. You may remember them from the photo shoot we did last year. As before, they were an absolute delight. We spent the afternoon doing some family pictures, and […]
