I was off to Annapolis Royal on Canada Day to photograph a wedding for Bill and Adele, and while the attendance list was small, they made up for that with an abundance of heart. Adele had decided not to settle for anything less than her perfect man – a “tall, dark, Scottish-Indian who played the guitar” – and then she met Bill. They came together over a guitar and a pile of dirty laundry, and they never looked back. And they did the same with the house they just purchased – followed their hearts with all gusto in a move that took them from coast to coast. I can relate. And I don’t think there was a dry eye in sight as these two shared their vows by the lilypads. Then it was back to the house, to get on Skype with their parents, lower the flowers and say, “Surprise! We got married!” What fun. And then to cap it all off, it was back to the gorgeous Queen Anne Inn, for a delicious dinner.
All in all, it was a beautiful day, and I was honoured to be part of it. Enjoy your Sneak Peek, guys!
P.S. Check out the gorgeous flowers by Lorraine Beswick – another knockout bouquet.
