Fifty years is a long time, and I am always so honoured when I am asked to document a family milestone like a 50th wedding anniversary. Plus, I always love catching up with the Arsenaults – they make my job so enjoyable! And so it was with great pleasure that I headed up to Grand Pre with my camera a couple of weekends ago. We then tripped over to the fabulous Lightfoot and Wolfville vineyards. You can see more of Tina’s beautiful letterpress work here. Plus the gorgeous local flowers were sourced here. Enjoy!
Oh gosh, these two are adorable. Some of you may recognize Kate as a fellow photographer who often does second shooting for me – she’s very talented in her own right. I was delighted to learn that she and her husband are expecting their first wee baby shortly after Christmas! Of course we had to do a photo shoot, and of course Kate knew a gorgeous place to go. Plus these aren’t just maternity photos – they’re also cutting down their first Christmas tree photos. I love shooting in the snow!
Getting together with the Peters family for a new set of photographs is always such a pleasure. This time we went back to the same location where we took the maternity photos before Llewyn was born, so it was extra fun (and a lot less snowy!) Add in the always beautiful Acadia gardens, and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer day. The kids are so adorable, and growing so fast, and my heart just melted when Junia requested a special photo of her and Mom. Enjoy this little peek, you guys!
It was raining cats and dogs the day Stephanie and Corey got married, but these two didn’t let it dampen their day at all (hee hee!) There were plenty of smiles, a few tears, and so much dancing. But most of all, there was lots and lots of love.
such fantastic pictures of a beautiful day!!
Steph and Corey, the pictures of you two are beautiful. xo Mom
Beautiful in every way!! <3
Rachel & Dougie are so in love that it is a delight to witness. Rachel was the chillest bride ever – this day was all about the love. (And the photos, of course!) All of these photos were taken at the farm Dougie owns and works with his Father, which also happens to be my new favourite place to take pictures. I think you’ll see why! 🙂
Beautiful sneak peek!!
